I saw Oprah's Aussie show last night-I was amazed, in awe, very moved...and also in tears, moved by the Uluru segment with our indigenous people, that this American Icon, who with her entourage, came to Australia to do something that will truly inspire, promote and reveal the wonders of our country forever.
The scenery, the beauty, the true spirit of our people was captured and displayed to the world. Oprah was real and humbled by what she saw -with no pretence, no spin, no drama...purely and simply brilliant!!
Well done to everyone involved-from us to the world forever xxx

It was amazing! I know the world is going to be seriously impressed and I really think it will do wonders for our tourism. By all accounts Oprah genuinely had a brilliant time here!

On a side note, I spotted myself in the audience going mental!

Oprah is such a lovely lady, and to all the people who went to see her live you are very lucky. She is a credit to the American people, if only we had someone like her to look up to.

My friend Megan had Oprah over for taco night, I was so excited for her. Megan new my late wife who died after a battle with cancer which she won, she died of unrelated illness. Megan had talked to Leah about her positivity and this rubbed off, hence Megan's outlook on life. Well if you can stay positive during cancer treatment a dream of meeting Oprah is a walk in the park. Anywho, I am writing a book about our journey, the discovery of an amazing treatment available overseas helping 1000's but not available here. The book will be used to fund the purchase of Australia's 1st Cyberknife treatment which I will donate to an aussie hospital. We are going to follow Oprah's itinerary and exchange cheques of donations with representatives of the erik hausoul sarcoma foundation at various points around Australia (1st one is above Sydney harbour bridge). We have waited 4 yrs, lost nearly 200,000 lives to cancer so we want to get this treatment to Australia ASAP. The government isn't helping so this book hopefully will speed up the process. My aim is to get the book featured on Oprah's book club and ensure we raise the money for at least 1 Cyberknife.

I have an opportunity to really change things in Australian cancer care. My book featuring Oprah and Elvis among others is selling well with proceeds going to bringing advanced cancer treatments to Australia that are available in overseas hospitals world wide: www.lulu.com/

Now I have the opportunity to get funding to set up a formal foundation to make this process more efficient and effective. But I need your vote. Costs nothing and only takes 30 secs. Please click on the link. Thanks in advance.

1 year ago today that Oprah was in Australia and at my friend Megan's house in Melbourne. The celebratory Taco night was held again this week in her honour and the publicity she generated toward my book has created media interest in the new, state of the art cancer treatment to be brought to Australian hospitals for the 1st time. This will save lives and create a more humane treatment ensuring quality of life is not effected as is the case with our only treatment options at present. Look out in the new year for TV and news specials on this topic. www.lulu.com/

A couple of wild updates. Cyberknife is coming to Australia (Perth) in 2013. We will now ramp up the fight for east coast hospitals as well.
I was also nominated for Australian of the year as well. Very unexpected and very humbling.
