Divorce Party: a time for celebration?

We just found out that Cheryl Cole is supposedly throwing a divorce party to celebrate her official split from British soccer player Ashley Cole - who reportedly cheated on her with numerous women.

The 'Fight For this Love' singer is apparently arranging the get-together to coincide with the England team's World Cup soccer match against the US next Saturday.

So what do we think ladies? Is it in bad taste to throw a party in honor of your divorce? Or is it a gal's right?!

We're undecided on the matter.

Thoughts?

I think it's definitely a girl's right. Don't know much about Ashley Cole, but just from reports of the cheating, I think Cheryl's done well to liberate herself from their marriage. That is I think, a cause for celebration.

Sounds like this lady has got a lot of partying to do
She's got her self-respect back and that's something to be celebrated. I hope she celebrates it with class though, (nothing sleazy) otherwise it can all look a bit desperate.
Nothing like a classy lady moving on with her life in style, to show a sleaze just how much he really did lose

Why is he a sleaze because he cheated.....She married a soccer star.......groupies are notorious......She probably knew he had bedrooms full of women before they were married but we believe naievly at times that we are so special that we can change the spots on a leopard.......
Don't get even......what more hurt do you need?
Can't live with it....move on......he sure did and does have moves that is.....bless him and his weeny...

Can't agree with you Sandonato
Did she "hog-tie" him to get him to the altar? It always amazes me that men (and women) who see cheating as being acceptable even WANT to get married.
While I concede that maybe she should have known what to expect, the thing is that when he is willing to marry her and agree to the whole "love and honour" bit, one can't blame her if she really wants to believe it.
There are men who do fall in love with one woman and settle down, even in the celebrity world!

If he just wants to keep playing around, then why get married? THAT is what makes him a sleaze. Be what you have to be, but just don't pretend to those who love you to be someone you are clearly not.
That is just disrespectful and hurtful.
If you can't be honest with yourself, how can you be honest with anyone else?

I believe actions not words....once a player more than likely always a player.......yes exceptions to the rule.....
Love and honour is a promise noone should make.....yes baby until I get the urge to love and honour someone new........lol...
Love and honour yourself first and always.....
